Calum Ray Paul Davenport (born 1 January 1983) is an English professional footballer. He plays as a defender. Calum has played for many clubs. These include Coventry City, Tottenham Hotspur, and West Ham United. He currently plays for Tavistock.

Club Career Highlights
Starting at Coventry City
Calum Davenport began his football journey at Coventry City. He joined their training program in August 2000. His first game was in the 2000–01 season. This was when the club moved out of the Premier League.
He became a regular player in the 2002–03 season. Calum was named the Young Player of the Year. The next season, 2003–04, he won the Player of the Year award. He played 84 games for Coventry City. During his time there, he scored three goals.
Time at Tottenham Hotspur
In August 2004, Calum moved to Tottenham Hotspur. The transfer fee was about £1.3 million. While at Tottenham, he also played for other teams on loan. These teams included West Ham, Southampton, and Norwich City.
He made his first Premier League appearance for Tottenham in April 2006. This was in a game against Manchester United. Calum scored his first goal for Tottenham in December 2006. It was the first goal in a 2–1 win against Manchester City. He played 20 games for Tottenham and scored one goal.
Playing for West Ham United
Calum joined West Ham United in January 2007. He signed a contract for three and a half years. He had played for West Ham before on loan.
In January 2008, he went on loan to Watford. This was a team in the Championship. Calum got injured in his first game for Watford. He had to leave the game early. This injury meant his loan deal ended quickly.
After recovering, Calum returned to West Ham for the 2008-09 season. He played well and scored his first goal for West Ham in August 2008. It was a header against Blackburn Rovers. In February 2009, he joined Sunderland on loan. He played eight games for them.
Calum's contract with West Ham ended in March 2010. He had played 14 games for West Ham.
Later Career Moves
In August 2010, Calum trained with Leeds United. He was considering joining them. Later in September 2010, he signed with Wootton Blue Cross. This was to help him get back to full fitness.
In July 2021, it was announced that Calum had signed for Tavistock. They play in the Western League Premier Division. Calum said he wanted to get fit and help the club achieve promotion.
International Football
Calum Davenport also played for England's national youth teams. He represented England at the under-17, under-19, and under-21 levels.
Career Challenges
In August 2009, Calum suffered a very serious injury. This injury greatly affected his football career. He needed emergency surgery and a long recovery.
His club, West Ham, supported him during this time. He returned to light training after leaving the hospital. However, due to the severity of his injury, his contract with West Ham was ended by mutual agreement in March 2010. This allowed him to focus on his recovery.
Life After Professional Football
In 2019, Calum Davenport started coaching football for children. He does this in Plymouth, helping young players learn the game.
