Cameron "Cam" Zink was born on March 8, 1986. He is an amazing American professional mountain bike rider. Cam is famous for his exciting freeride style. He has also competed in the X Games.

Cam's Early Life and Bike Journey
Cam Zink grew up in Carson City, Nevada. He started riding mountain bikes when he was just 9 years old. By the time he was 16, he was already a champion! He won the junior national championship in a race called dual slalom. When he was 17, a big team called the Santa Cruz Syndicate signed him. For a few years, until he was 20, he kept racing. He also started competing in Slopestyle events.

Starting a Business: Sensus Grips
In 2009, Cam Zink created his own company. It is called Sensus. Sensus makes special grips for bikes. These grips help riders hold on tight.
Winning Big Competitions
Cam has won some of the biggest mountain biking events.
- In 2010, he won Red Bull Rampage. This is a huge freeride competition. He also won "best trick" for a 40-foot 360-degree spin. That same year, he won the FMB World Tour season title.
- In 2013, he won "best trick" again at Red Bull Rampage. He did an amazing 78-foot backflip! This was after doctors told him not to ride. He also placed 4th in the Slopestyle event at the Munich X-Games.
- In 2014, he came in second place at Red Bull Rampage. He won "best trick" by doing the biggest 360-degree spin ever seen at the event.
Setting World Records
On August 21, 2014, Cam Zink set a world record. He did the farthest backflip on a bicycle. The flip was an incredible 100 feet and 3 inches long! This happened at Mammoth Mountain during the World of X-Games.
More Wins and Achievements
Cam also won the Crankworx Slopestyle event twice. He won in 2006 and again in 2010. This event is now called Joyride. It takes place in Whistler, British Columbia.
Helping Young Riders: Milepost 35 Camp
In 2020, Cam started a mountain bike camp. It is called Milepost 35 Mountain Bike Camp. The camp is located at Mt. Hood, Oregon. Cam's non-profit group, "Sensus Rad Trails," helps build the camp's bike park. Each summer, young riders can learn from Cam himself.
X-Games Medal and Recent Wins
In April 2021, the X-Games brought mountain biking back. Cam Zink sent in a video of his riding. This video was so good that he won his first X-Games medal! In 2023, he won Red Bull Rampage for a second time. This was a huge victory for him. In the 2024 Red Bull Rampage, Cam had a crash during his second run. He was taken to the hospital but was in stable condition.
