Camilla Läckberg (born August 30, 1974) is a famous Swedish writer. She is best known for her exciting crime novels. Nordic noir is a type of crime story, often from Scandinavia, that is usually dark and realistic.

How Camilla Läckberg Writes Her Books

Camilla Läckberg has loved crime stories since she was a child. She found them on her father's bookshelf and has been fascinated ever since. She became a writer after her family gave her a creative writing course as a Christmas gift.

Her stories often show the beautiful Swedish coast. They have characters that feel real and plots that are clever and full of suspense. Reviewers have called her books "smart" and "unflinching," meaning they are well-written and don't shy away from tough topics.
