Carapeguá is a city and district in the Paraguarí Department of Paraguay. It's about 84 kilometers (52 miles) away from Asunción, the capital city. This city was founded a long time ago, in 1725. Carapeguá is located near the Caañabé river and close to the famous Ypoá lake. People sometimes call it the "Caañabé's Pearl" because it's a special place.
