Cariamanga is a town in the Loja Province of Ecuador. It is the main town of the Calvas Canton. This town is located high up in the mountains, about 1,950 meters (6,168 feet) above sea level.
Cariamanga was founded a long time ago, on April 29, 1546. Today, about 13,175 people live there, according to the 2022 census. The town is led by a Mayor, who helps make decisions for the community.
