College Football Career
Carl Byrum played college football for the Mississippi Valley State Delta Devils. He was on the team from 1982 to 1985. A famous teammate of his was Jerry Rice, who later became a legendary NFL player. Their coach was Archie Cooley.
In 2006, Carl Byrum was honored. He was added to the Mississippi Valley State University Athletic Hall of Fame. This means he was recognized for his great achievements in college sports.
Playing in the NFL
