Early Life and College Years
Carl Jones grew up in Garfield Heights, Ohio. This is where he went to Garfield Heights High School. After high school, he continued his basketball career in college. From 2009 to 2013, Carl played for the Saint Joseph's Hawks. Playing college basketball is a big step for many athletes who dream of becoming professionals.
Professional Career
After finishing college in 2013, Carl Jones began his professional basketball journey. He has played for several teams in different leagues.
Starting in Europe
Carl's first professional team was KK MZT Skopje in 2013. This team is from North Macedonia. In March 2014, he moved to KB Peja, a team in Kosovo. Playing in different countries helps basketball players gain lots of experience.
Playing in Mexico
In 2015, Carl Jones started playing in Mexico. He joined Pioneros de Los Mochis in the CIBACOPA league. After playing seven games with them, he moved to another Mexican team, Frayles de Guasave.
Carl continued his career in Mexico, playing for several more teams. From 2016 to 2017, he played for Barreteros de Zacatecas. In 2017, he also played for Ostioneros de Guaymas. He then played for Mineros de Zacatecas from 2017 to 2018.
From 2018 to 2019, Carl was part of the Capitanes de Ciudad de México. In 2019, he played for Plateros de Fresnillo. Carl Jones has shown great dedication by playing for many different teams throughout his career. He continues to play professional basketball today with Soles de Ojinaga.
