Carla Rebecchi, born on September 7, 1984, is a famous Argentine field hockey player. She is known for her amazing skills as a forward. Carla played for the Argentina national field hockey team, which means "The Lionesses."

She helped her team win many important medals. At the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, she won a bronze medal. Four years later, at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, she won a silver medal.

Carla's Big Wins

World Cup Success

In 2010, Carla and her team won the World Cup. This big event happened in Rosario, Argentina. It was a huge victory for them! She also helped the team get bronze medals in the World Cup in 2006 and 2014.

Champions Trophy Triumphs

Carla has won the Hockey Champions Trophy six times. This is a very important tournament in field hockey. Her team won gold medals in:

Carla also led her team to win the World League in 2014–2015. She has won three medals at the Pan American Games, including gold in 2007 and 2019. She also won two Pan American Cups in 2009 and 2013.

Becoming a Leader

After a famous player named Luciana Aymar retired, Carla became the captain of the national team. This showed how much her teammates trusted her. She was a great leader for "The Lionesses."

In February 2017, Carla decided to retire from playing for the national team. She had played 290 matches and scored 153 goals! But she missed the game. After becoming a mother, she returned to play on September 3, 2018.
