Carlo Albán (born October 3, 1979) is an Ecuadorian actor. He is well-known for playing "Carlo" on the children's TV show Sesame Street from 1993 to 1998. Early Life and First Roles
Carlo Albán moved to the United States with his family when he was seven years old. They stayed in the country even though their travel documents had expired. This meant they always faced the risk of being asked to leave.
When Carlo was 12, he got his first acting role. He played the main character in the play Oliver!. After that, he continued to act in New York. Soon, he was chosen to be on Sesame Street.
Carlo grew up in Sayreville, New Jersey. He finished high school at Sayreville War Memorial High School in 1996. In 2019, he was honored and added to his school's hall of fame. He later studied visual arts at Rutgers University.
