Carlos Morgan's Music Journey

Carlos Morgan was born in Toronto. Before he became a solo artist, he sang with local bands named Blue Zone and Lypstick.

His First Album: Feelin' Alright

In 1996, Carlos released his first album, Feelin' Alright. It came out on a small record label called D-Tone. Radio stations in Canada, like CKZZ-FM in Vancouver, were the first to play his songs. They really liked "Give It to You" and "Baby C'mon".

After he won the Juno Award, a bigger company called Universal Music Canada re-released his album in 1997. That same year, he won another award! He received the MuchMusic Video Award for Best Soul/R&B Video for his song "Give It to You". In 1998, he won the same award again at the first Canadian Urban Music Awards.

New Music and The Compilation

Carlos started working on his second album around 2000 and 2001. It was going to be called We're Gonna Make It. He released some new songs during this time. However, a full new album didn't come out until 2012.

In 2012, he released an album called The Compilation. This album was a mix of his older songs from the early 2000s and brand new songs. Music critics liked it. They said it showed that Carlos still had his amazing singing skills. In the same year, he helped write a song called "Hold My Head Up High" with another artist, Quisha Wint. Carlos plans to release his third album, Where I've Been, Where I'm Going, in 2025.
