Carlos Sala Molera (born on March 20, 1960, in Barcelona, Catalonia) is a famous Spanish athlete. People often called him "Charli." He was a sprint hurdler, which means he was a runner who jumped over barriers called hurdles.

Carlos Sala was an amazing athlete who represented Spain in five Summer Olympics in a row! He competed in the Olympics from 1980 all the way to 1996. His best performance at the Olympic Games was in 1984, where he finished in 7th place.

His fastest time ever in the 110 meters hurdles was 13.44 seconds. He achieved this incredible speed in August 1987, right in his hometown of Barcelona.
