Carlota Olcina (born June 21, 1983, in Sabadell, Spain) is a talented Spanish actress. She is well-known for her roles in popular TV shows. These include El cor de la ciutat, Amar en tiempos revueltos, and Merlí.

About Carlota Olcina

Carlota Olcina grew up in Sabadell, Spain. She loved acting, music, and dance from a young age. She studied these arts at the Memory School in Barcelona.

Her acting career began in 1998 with a play called Bernadeta Xoc. Soon after, she appeared on TV in the series Laura and Laberint d'ombres. Both shows were on TV3, a Catalan TV channel.

In 2000, Carlota got a big role in the TV series El cor de la ciutat. She played Núria Vidal until 2005. This show was very popular in Catalonia.

While working on El cor, Carlota also performed in many plays. She acted in Terra Baixa in 2000. In 2002, she was in Sábado, domingo, lunes. She also played Catherine in Panorama from the Bridge in 2006.

In 2008, Carlota starred in a mini-series called Artemisia Sánchez. It was shown on TV3 and an Italian channel, Rai. That same year, she joined another long-running TV series. This was Amar en tiempos revueltos, a Spanish show set after a war. Carlota played Teresa until 2012.

After Amar en tiempos revueltos, Carlota appeared in the movie El cuerpo in 2012. In 2013, she starred in the series Gran reserva.El origen. She also had a guest role in Los misterios de Laura.

In 2015, Carlota joined the TV series Seis hermanas. She played Petra in over 140 episodes. In 2016, she was in the thriller series Nit i dia. Then, in 2017, she became a main character in Merlí. She played Silvana, a new history teacher.

Carlota Olcina has always balanced her TV work with theater. She has been in many plays that audiences and critics have loved. These include Dansa d'Agost, Incendios, and L'habitació del costat.
