Carmen Sánchez (born April 21, 1898 – died November 20, 1985) was a talented Spanish singer, dancer, and actress. She began her career at a very young age, performing as a dancer and singer in zarzuela shows. By the time she was 20, she was also performing copla and chotis music. Carmen Sánchez was a pioneer in early silent films, appearing in movies between 1927 and 1928. She became a very famous Spanish actress after the Spanish Civil War.

The Spanish Civil War (1936-1939) paused her work for a while. However, she continued performing in Madrid's Pavón theater in 1938 and 1939. In the 1940s, she returned to the theater.
