Carrol Junction (also called Carroll) is a small, undeveloped area in Laclede County, Missouri, located in the beautiful Ozarks region of south central Missouri. It's not a city or a town with its own government, but rather a community where people live.

Carrol Junction is found right next to a railroad line. It's just west of Interstate 44, which is a major highway. The community is also about 1.75 miles southwest of another small place called Sleeper.
How Did Carrol Junction Get Its Name?
This community was named after a local farmer. His name was W. C. Carroll. It's common for places to be named after important people or features in the area.
