Carvalho Leite's Football Journey
Carvalho Leite's football career lasted for 15 years, from 1927 to 1943. He played for two clubs: Petropolitano and Botafogo. Most of his career was spent with Botafogo, where he became a legend.
Playing for Botafogo
Carvalho Leite joined Botafogo in 1929. He helped his team win the Campeonato Carioca title five times in a row! These wins happened in 1930, 1932, 1933, 1934, and 1935. This was a huge achievement for the club.
He was also an amazing goalscorer. He was the top goalscorer in the Campeonato Carioca five times:

Playing for Brazil

Carvalho Leite also played for Brazil in the 1934 World Cup. He was a key player for his country during these early World Cup tournaments.
