Casa View is a lively neighborhood in Dallas, Texas, United States. It is located in the northeastern part of the city. The neighborhood is close to White Rock Lake.
The Greater Casa View area is bordered by Buckner Boulevard, Garland Road, I-635, and Oates. It stretches to the city line of Mesquite. For a long time, Casa View was often thought of as part of the nearby Casa Linda neighborhood. But now, Casa View is becoming well-known on its own! D Magazine even called it one of "5 Neighborhoods on the Rise" in 2016.
In the 1960s, most people living in Casa View were white. They were mainly Protestant and Roman Catholic. By the early 2010s, the neighborhood became mostly Hispanic. Today, Casa View is a very diverse and modern neighborhood. It has many single-family homes. It is also home to the largest group of "mid-century modern" houses in Texas. These cool homes were designed by the famous architect Cliff May.
