Casigua-El Cubo is an important town in northwestern Venezuela. It is the main town, or "seat," of the Jesús María Semprún area, which is part of the Zulia State. This town is located in the southern part of the Lake Maracaibo region, right by the Tarra River. It was officially founded on December 13, 1913.
