Casnate con Bernate is a small town, also called a comune, in the Lombardy region of Italy. It's located in the Province of Como, about 30 kilometers (18 miles) north of Milan and 5 kilometers (3 miles) south of Como. As of 2010, about 4,908 people lived here, and the town covers an area of 5.3 square kilometers (2 square miles).
This town is actually made up of two older villages, Casnate and Bernate. They used to be separate towns until they joined together in July 1937.
