Geography of Casserres
Casserres is located about 12 kilometers (that's about 7.5 miles) from Berga, which is the main town of the Berguedà area. Two small streams, the Clarà and Meriola, flow through the land here. The bigger Llobregat river also forms one of the town's borders.
Most of the farming in Casserres is what we call dryland farming. This means farmers grow crops without needing extra water from irrigation. They mostly grow cereals like wheat or barley, and also potatoes. People in Casserres also raise animals.
