Casupá has been around for over a hundred years! It was officially started on September 15, 1908.
Over time, Casupá grew. On June 12, 1924, it was officially called a "Pueblo." This word means "village" in Spanish. Later, on July 5, 1956, it grew even more. It was then given the title of "Villa," which means "town." This shows how Casupá developed from a small settlement into the town it is today.
