Caterina Chiara Bosetti, born on February 2, 1994, is a professional volleyball player from Italy. She plays for the team VakıfBank Istanbul and is also a key player for the Italian national volleyball team. Caterina is an Olympic gold medalist, which is a huge achievement in sports!

About Caterina Bosetti
Caterina was born in Busto Arsizio, Italy. She comes from a family that loves volleyball! Her dad, Giuseppe Bosetti, used to coach the Italian women's national volleyball team. Her mom, Franca Bardelli, played for the national team 93 times. Caterina also has a sister, Lucia Bosetti, who is a talented volleyball player too.
Caterina's Volleyball Journey
Caterina Bosetti has had an amazing career in volleyball. She has played for many different clubs and represented her country, Italy, in major tournaments.
Early Career and Olympic Debut
In 2012, Caterina got to compete in the Summer Olympics. This was a big moment for her early in her career.
Club and National Team Success
In 2014, Caterina's club team won a silver medal at the FIVB Club World Championship. They played a tough final match against Dinamo Kazan from Russia.
She also played for the Italian national team at the 2014 World Championship. Her team finished in fourth place after a very close match for the bronze medal against Brazil.
In 2017, Caterina was chosen to play in the Italian League All-Star game. This shows how much her skills were recognized!
Olympic Gold Medal
Caterina achieved her biggest dream in 2024. She won a gold medal at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris with the Italian national team. This is one of the highest honors a volleyball player can receive!
