Aírton Graciliano dos Santos (born May 15, 1974), known to many as Caíco, is a former professional Brazilian football player. He played as a midfielder and was known for his skills on the field. Caíco played for many different clubs in Brazil and also in other countries like Japan, Switzerland, and Portugal.

Caíco Santos: A Football Journey
Caíco was born in Porto Alegre, Brazil. He started his football career at a young age, showing great talent. His journey in football began in the early 1990s. He played for many famous clubs throughout his career.
Early Career and First Clubs
Caíco started playing professionally in 1992 with Internacional. This was a big club in Brazil. He stayed there for a few years, learning and growing as a player. After Internacional, he moved to Verdy Kawasaki in Japan in 1996. This was his first time playing football outside of Brazil.
Later in 1996, Caíco returned to Brazil to play for Flamengo. He then joined Santos in 1997. He even had two different periods playing for Santos. He also played for Atlético Paranaense and Atlético Mineiro.
Playing Abroad: Europe and Asia
Caíco's career took him to different parts of the world. After playing in Japan, he moved to Europe. In 2001, he played for Lugano in Switzerland. Later, from 2003 to 2005, he played for Leiria in Portugal. He also played for Marítimo in Portugal from 2006 to 2007. Playing in different countries helped him gain new experiences.
Later Career and Retirement
After his time in Europe, Caíco returned to Brazil. He played for several more clubs. These included Ponte Preta, Goiás, Juventude, Coritiba, Itumbiara, and Vila Nova. He played his last professional games around 2009.
