Cecil Parker (born Cecil Schwabe, 3 September 1897 – 20 April 1971) was a well-known English actor. He had a unique husky voice. He often played supporting roles in his many films. These characters were sometimes a bit proud or bossy. He acted in 91 films between 1928 and 1969.

Cecil went to school at St Francis Xavier College. He also studied in Bruges, Belgium. During the First World War, he served in the Royal Sussex Regiment. He became a sergeant. After the war, he began his acting career in London in 1922. He decided to use his mother's maiden name, "Parker," as his stage name.
