The Chiasmocleis bicegoi, also known as the Cecilia humming frog or Santa Cecilia humming frog, is a small frog. It belongs to the Microhylidae family, which includes many types of narrow-mouthed frogs. This frog is found only in Brazil, meaning it is endemic to that country.

Scientists have mostly found this frog in one specific place, called its type locality. This is the first place where a new species is officially discovered and described. Even though it has only been found there for sure, scientists think it might live in other parts of Brazil too.

For a long time, scientists thought this frog was part of another species called Chiasmocleis albopunctata. But in 2018, after more research, they decided it was different enough to be its own unique species.
