Cecily Brennan (born in 1955) is a talented artist from Ireland. She started her career as a painter. Later, she also became known for making sculptures. In the 1990s, she led a special group called the Visual Arts Committee. This was for the Irish government's Department of Foreign Affairs. She also created a video called "Black Tears" in 2010. This video showed an Irish actress feeling sad. It was shown in art galleries in Cork and Dublin.
