Celeste Jeanne Yarnall (born July 26, 1944 – died October 7, 2018) was an American actress. She was famous for her roles in movies and TV shows during the 1960s and 1970s. Celeste started her acting journey on television. Later, she moved on to perform in feature films.

Celeste Yarnall's Acting Career
Celeste Yarnall was born in Long Beach, California. She was discovered in 1962 by Ozzie and Ricky Nelson. They invited her to appear on their TV show, The Adventures of Ozzie & Harriet. In 1964, she was named "Miss Rheingold" while working as a model. She also appeared in many TV commercials.
Early Film and TV Roles
Celeste made her first movie appearance in The Nutty Professor (1963). After attending the Cannes Film Festival in 1967, she was chosen for the main role in the film Eve. She also acted in the horror film Beast of Blood (1971). In this movie, she played a character who is scared by a monster.
Famous Roles and Recognition
Celeste Yarnall is well-known for her role as Yeoman Martha Landon. She played this character in the Star Trek: The Original Series episode "The Apple" (1967). She even returned to this role in a fan-made film called Star Trek: Of Gods and Men (2006).
She also had a small role alongside Elvis Presley in his movie Live a Little, Love a Little (1968). In this film, she played a party guest who catches Elvis's eye. This moment leads him to sing his famous song, "A Little Less Conversation".
After attending the Cannes Film Festival in 1968, Celeste received special awards. The National Association of Theatre Owners named her "Most Promising New Star" for 1968. The Foreign Press Corps also called her the "Most Photogenic Beauty of the Year." In 1971, she starred as a vampire in the movie The Velvet Vampire.
Celeste Yarnall's Personal Life
Celeste Yarnall was married three times. Her first marriage was to Sheldon Silverstein from 1964 to 1970. They had one daughter named Camilla, who was born in 1970. She later married Robert Colman from 1979 to 1990. On July 2, 2010, she married British artist Nazim Nazim.
Later Years and Passing
After her acting career slowed down, Celeste Yarnall started a new path in real estate. She became very successful in this field. By 1982, she even owned her own real estate company.
Later, in 1998, Celeste earned a special degree in nutrition. She then taught nutrition at Pacific Western University. She also became known for breeding Tonkinese cats. She wrote two books about caring for pets: Natural Dog Care: A Complete Guide to Holistic Care for Dogs and Natural Cat Care: A Complete Guide to Holistic Care for Cats.
Celeste also enjoyed attending Star Trek conventions. There, she would meet fans and sign autographs.
Celeste Yarnall passed away on October 7, 2018, in Westlake Village, California. She was 74 years old. She had been diagnosed with ovarian cancer in 2014.
