Centro barrio is a special part of the town of Moca, Puerto Rico. It is like a neighborhood or a district within the larger municipality. In 2010, about 1,056 people lived there.
History of Centro
Puerto Rico became a territory of the United States after the Spanish–American War. This happened because of a peace agreement called the Treaty of Paris of 1898.
In 1899, the United States government counted everyone living in Puerto Rico. This first count, or census, showed that Centro barrio had 601 residents.
