Who Lives in Centru?
Centru is home to many people! In 2011, about 2,306,540 people lived here. That means there were about 67.6 people for every square kilometer.
Different Groups of People
Centru is known for having many different groups of people living together. This makes it a very diverse place!
- Romanians: About 65.4% of the people are Romanians.
- Hungarians: Around 29.9% of the people are Hungarians. Many of them live in two counties called Harghita and Covasna. In these two counties, Hungarians are the largest group.
- Roma: About 4% of the people are from the Roma community.
- Germans: A smaller group, about 0.6%, are Germans.
