Cerceda is a small town, or municipality, located in the northwestern part of Spain. It's found in the province of A Coruña, which is part of the larger area known as Galicia. Galicia is one of Spain's 17 autonomous communities, which are like big regions with their own governments.
Cerceda is also part of a smaller area called the comarca of Ordes. As of 2008, about 5,597 people lived in Cerceda. People from Cerceda are called Cercedense.
