Cercs is a small town, also called a municipality, in the Berguedà region of Catalonia, Spain. It is located on the right side of the Llobregat river. This river flows into the Baells reservoir, a large artificial lake.
Cercs is known for its important power station. This station uses lignite, a type of coal, that is dug up from nearby areas like Fígols and Saldes. The town is easy to reach by the C-1411 road, which connects Berga to the Cadí tunnel.
