Charlee's Music Journey
Starting Her Career
When Charlee was just 14 years old, she signed a music deal with a big company called Universal Music. This meant she could start making her first album. The album was named This Is Me, and Hubert Molander helped produce it.
Her very first song, called "Boy Like You", came out in August 2010. A famous American singer, Kesha, helped write this song.
Eurovision and New Songs
Charlee also took part in the Austrian selection for the Eurovision Song Contest 2011. She sang her second song, "Good to Be Bad," in this competition. She finished in eighth place.
Later in 2011, Charlee released her third song, "Obvious". On April 29, 2011, her first album, This Is Me, was officially released.
The Voice of Germany and This Is Now
Charlee later joined a German TV singing competition called The Voice of Germany. She did well but was eliminated during the "Battles" round.
On December 24, 2011, Charlee released a special collection of songs called an EP (Extended Play) named This Is Now. Fans could download it for free from her website.
