In 1700, Charles took over Frogmore House after his father passed away. His father had a long lease on the property. However, Charles and his two sisters had to move out of Frogmore House in 1709.

His Education and Career

Charles Aldworth went to King's College, Cambridge in 1693. After that, he studied law at the Inner Temple. He became a lawyer in 1703.

Becoming a Member of Parliament

In 1712, Charles Aldworth became a Member of Parliament (MP) for New Windsor. An MP is a person elected to represent their area in the country's parliament. He was recommended for this role by the Duke of Northumberland.

He served as an MP until his death in 1714. Charles Aldworth passed away after a duel. A duel was a formal fight, often with weapons, to settle a dispute. In this case, Colonel Chudleigh, an army officer, challenged Aldworth.

Charles Aldworth was not married. He made sure his unmarried sisters were taken care of by selling some of his family's property.
