His Journey as a Bishop

Becoming an Archbishop
From July 30, 1981, to July 16, 1984, Charles-Amarin Brand served as the Archbishop of the Archdiocese of Monaco. An archbishop is a bishop of the highest rank, usually in charge of a large archdiocese.
After his time in Monaco, he was appointed Archbishop of the Archdiocese of Strasbourg on July 16, 1984. He led the church in Strasbourg until he retired on October 23, 1997. He passed away in 2013.
