  • In April 2018, she chatted with host Steve Harvey. Then, she sang the song "It's a Man's Man's Man's World".
  • In December 2018, she again spoke with Steve Harvey. After that, she performed "Please Come Home For Christmas".

Competing on America's Got Talent

Charlotte Summers, known for her soul-blues singing style, appeared on America's Got Talent Season 14 in 2019. She was 13 years old and performed three times.

Her First Audition

In her first performance, Charlotte sang "I Put a Spell on You" by Screamin' Jay Hawkins. The audience and all four judges loved it! They gave her a standing ovation, which means everyone stood up to clap for her.

Moving On: Judge Cuts

For the "Judge Cuts" round, Charlotte sang her own version of "You Don't Own Me". This song was first recorded by Lesley Gore in 1963. Her performance was a huge hit! The audience, all four judges, and even guest judge Jay Leno gave her a standing ovation. This amazing performance helped her move forward to the quarterfinals.

The Quarterfinals Challenge

In the quarterfinals, Charlotte sang "Diamonds Are Forever". This famous song is from a James Bond movie and was sung by Shirley Bassey. Even though she performed well, she didn't get enough votes from the public. She also didn't win the "Dunkin' Save" or the judges' vote. This led to a tiebreaker, and sadly, she was eliminated from the competition.
