Chearoco is a tall mountain in the Cordillera Real mountain range. This range is part of the larger Andes mountains in Bolivia. Chearoco is also known as Chiaraco or Chiaroco. These names might come from the Aymara language. Ch'iyara means black, and juqhu means muddy place.
The mountain is about 6,127 m (20,102 ft) high. It is located in the La Paz Department of Bolivia. You can find it in Larecaja Province, near the town of Guanay. Chearoco sits between two other peaks, Qalsata and Chachakumani. The Aymara name for the mountain is similar to the names of a nearby area and a river. This river, called Ch'iyar Juqhu, starts near the mountain.
