Cheese Nips were yummy, bite-sized cheese crackers. They were made by a company called Mondelez International, under their famous brand, Nabisco. These crackers were first created to compete with another popular cheese cracker, Cheez-It. Sometimes, you could also find Cheese Nips in smaller, single-serving bags. These were called Cheese Nips Thin Crisps 100 Calorie Packs.
The Story of Cheese Nips
Cheese Nips first appeared in 1955. They were originally called "Cheese-Nips." Later, after a company merger, they were known as "Kraft Cheese Nips."
In November 2019, some Cheese Nips packages were recalled. This happened because a small amount of plastic was found in some boxes. By 2020, Cheese Nips were no longer sold in the U.S. However, a similar cracker is still sold in Canada. It is called "Ritz Cheese Nibs" and is made by a brand named "Christie."
