Cheffreville-Tonnencourt was a small commune (like a town or village) located in northwestern France. It was part of the Calvados department in the Normandy region. On January 1, 2016, Cheffreville-Tonnencourt joined with other nearby communes to form a larger new commune called Livarot-Pays-d'Auge.
Population Changes Over Time
The number of people living in Cheffreville-Tonnencourt changed a lot over the years. In the early 1800s, it had over 600 residents. However, its population slowly decreased over many decades. By the 1970s, it had fewer than 150 people. In recent years, before it merged, the population started to grow a little again, reaching about 292 people in 2019.
