"Chikai" (誓い, lit. "Vow") is a song by Japanese singer-songwriter Utada Hikaru. It means "Vow" in Japanese. This song, along with its English version called "Don't Think Twice", is the ending theme for the popular video game Kingdom Hearts III.

"Chikai" was first released on Utada's seventh Japanese album, Hatsukoi. She also performed it during her "Laughter In The Dark Tour" in 2018. The song and "Don't Think Twice" were later released together. They were part of a CD single for her song "Face My Fears" on January 18, 2019. This was her first CD single in eleven years! It was also her first release with new English songs since 2009.

On September 17, 2018, Utada Hikaru performed "Chikai" live for the very first time. She sang it at a big music event called Music Station Super FES 2018.

How Well the Song Did

"Chikai" was very popular even before it was officially released as a single. In Japan, it reached number 8 on the Oricon download chart. It also did well on Billboard Japan, getting to number 51 on the Japan Hot 100 chart. On the Download Songs chart, it reached number 10.

Internationally, "Chikai" became Utada's best-selling single at that time. On the iTunes store, it was very popular in many countries. It reached number 39 in North America. It also hit number 3 in Chile and number 7 in Colombia. Overall, it charted in up to 10 different countries around the world.
