Chikezie Eze is an American singer. He became well-known as a finalist on the seventh season of the TV show American Idol. He finished in tenth place during his time on the show.

Early Life and Background
Chikezie was born in Inglewood, California. His parents are from Nigeria. He went to high school at the Los Angeles Center for Enriched Studies. He also studied at Bethel College in Kansas. Before he became famous on American Idol, Chikezie worked as a screener for the Transportation Security Administration. He also worked as a cashier. He attended Santa Monica College in Santa Monica, California too.

Chikezie tried out for the seventh season of American Idol. He did very well and made it into the top 12 contestants. He was eliminated from the competition on March 26, 2008. He ended up finishing in tenth place overall.
