Chikezie Eze (pronounced "chi-KEE-zee") is an American singer. He became well-known after appearing on the TV show American Idol. He was one of the top 10 finalists in the seventh season of the show.
Early life
Chikezie was born in Inglewood, California. His parents are from Nigeria. He went to high school at the Los Angeles Center for Enriched Studies. He also studied at Bethel College in Kansas and Santa Monica College. Before becoming famous on American Idol, he worked as a screener for the Transportation Security Administration. He also worked as a cashier.

Chikezie tried out for the seventh season of American Idol. He did very well and made it into the top 12 singers. He was eliminated from the show on March 26, 2008. He finished in tenth place overall.
