Leury José Tejeda Brito, known by his stage name Chimbala, is a popular Dominican urban music artist. He is a talented rapper and singer from Santo Domingo. Many people consider him one of the top performers of Dominican dembow, a lively music style, in Latin America.
Chimbala has worked with many famous artists. These include El Alfa, Mozart La Para, and Natti Natasha. He became very well-known with his song "Maniquí". This song even caught the attention of the artist Farruko, who then made a remix of it.
