Natalia Alexandra Gutiérrez Batista (born December 10, 1986), known as Natti Natasha, is a talented singer, songwriter, and composer from the Dominican Republic. She is famous for her music in genres like Reggaeton and Bachata. Natti Natasha first signed with Don Omar's music label, Orfanato Music Group. Her first album, Iluminatti, came out in 2019.

Early Life and Music Beginnings

Natalia Alexandra Gutiérrez Batista was born in Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic. She loved music from a young age. When she was seven, Natti Natasha started taking singing classes at the school of Fine Arts in Santiago. She says this was one of the best times in her life.

She looked up to artists like Bob Marley, Jerry Rivera, and especially Lauryn Hill. Natti Natasha also admired Ivy Queen, another famous singer. When Natti Natasha was 18, she moved to the Bronx in New York, hoping to start her music career. There, she met the famous reggaeton artist Don Omar, who signed her to his record label.

Before becoming a big star, Natti Natasha also worked as an engineer and in a makeup factory. She also formed a music group called "D'Style" with friends, but it didn't last. She has been a vegan for over seven years.

Starting Out: 2010–2016

Natti Natasha began her career by signing with Orfanato Music Group. In 2010, she released a remix of "Hold Ya" with Gyptian and Don Omar. She also worked with Don Omar on the song "Dutty Love" in 2011, which became very popular. This led to another song with Don Omar called "Tus Movimientos." She also collaborated with Farruko on "Crazy in Love."

Becoming Famous: 2017–2018

In 2017, Natti Natasha teamed up with Puerto Rican superstar Daddy Yankee for the song "Otra Cosa." Later that year, she released "Criminal" with Ozuna. This song was a huge hit! It quickly reached the top five on the Billboard Hot Latin Songs chart. It was also the most-watched music video of 2017.

In April 2018, Natti Natasha worked with Becky G on the song "Sin Pijama." This song was another big success. It reached number three on the Hot Latin Songs chart and was certified platinum very quickly. It also got over one billion views in just six months, making it the most-watched female song of that year. She also collaborated with other artists like Bad Bunny, Thalía, and Cosculluela. Natti Natasha is currently signed to Pina Records.

Natti Natasha released her first album, Iluminatti, on February 15, 2019. It had 15 songs, including collaborations with Anitta and Kany Garcia. In 2019, she joined Daddy Yankee, the Jonas Brothers, and Sebastián Yatra for the song "Runaway."

In 2021, Natti Natasha performed live for the first time in two years at Billboard’s Latin Music Week. Her six-episode TV show, Everybody Loves Natti, started in November 2021. On January 13, 2022, she worked with the South Korean girl group Momoland on "Yummy Yummy Love." This was her first time singing in English since her early career and her first time working with an Asian music group.

Personal Life

In 2021, Natti Natasha got engaged to her manager, Raphy Pina, who founded Pina Records. On February 18, 2021, she shared that she was expecting a baby. Their daughter, Vida Isabelle Pina Gutiérrez, was born on May 22, 2021.
