Chloe Chambers (born June 14, 2004) is an American racing driver. She races in F1 Academy for Campos Racing. She is also part of the Red Bull Academy Programme.
Racing Career Highlights
Early Karting Days
Chloe Chambers started karting when she was seven years old. A year later, she began racing at Oakland Valley Race Park in New York. She won the Kid Kart Championship in her very first year. She raced karts in the North East US and Canada. In 2019, she finished third in a big national event called the SKUSA SuperNationals XXIII.
Formula 4 United States
In 2021, Chloe raced in some events of the Formula 4 United States Championship. She scored one point by finishing tenth in a race at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course. She ended the season in 26th place.
W Series Experience
In 2022, Chloe Chambers joined the W Series. She raced for Jenner Racing alongside Jamie Chadwick. In her first race in Miami, she finished seventh. This made her the best new driver in that race. However, she got a penalty and was moved to 14th place. In the second Miami race, she finished tenth, earning her first W Series point. She was again the highest-placed new driver. She finished the 2022 season in 16th place with one point.
Formula Regional Oceania Championship
In 2023, Chloe competed in the Formula Regional Oceania Championship. She consistently scored points in the first four rounds. Her best finish was ninth place four times. In the final race in Taupo, she achieved something amazing. She got the pole position (starting first) and won the race! This made her the first woman to ever win a race and get a pole position in this series. She finished ninth overall and was named the Most Improved Driver.
Porsche Sprint Challenge North America
Success in 2023
In 2023, Chloe Chambers raced in the Porsche Sprint Challenge North America. She drove a Cayman GT4 Club Sport car. She became a Porsche Junior, which is a special program for talented young drivers. Her first races were at Barber Motorsports Park. She started first and won both races there. She also won another race at Virginia International Raceway. In total, she won eight races and was on the podium nine times out of 12 starts. She finished sixth in the overall standings.
Guest Races in 2024
In 2024, she returned as a guest driver for two races at Barber Motorsports Park. She again took pole position and won both races.
F1 Academy Journey
2024 Season Highlights
Chloe joined the 2024 F1 Academy season with Campos Racing. She was supported by the Haas team. She earned her first podium of the season in Miami, finishing third in Race 1. In Barcelona, she started on the front row for both races. She got another third-place podium in the first race. In the second Barcelona race, she won her first F1 Academy race! She started second, passed the pole-sitter, and led the whole race. She also set the fastest lap.
She had a strong season, finishing sixth in the drivers' standings with 122 points. She achieved one win and four podium finishes.
Looking Ahead to 2025
On October 2, 2024, it was announced that Chloe would race in the 2025 F1 Academy season again with Campos Racing. She also joined the Red Bull Academy Program, supported by Red Bull Ford.
Other Racing Tests
Chloe has also tested other powerful racing cars. In September 2022, she tested an FIA Formula 3 car in France. She did another test in July 2024 at the Silverstone Circuit. She also tested a Formula E car with the Andretti team in November 2024.
Personal Life and Achievements
Chloe Chambers was born in China. She was adopted by her American parents, Matthew and Shannon Chambers, when she was 11 months old. Her younger sister and brother were also adopted.
Chloe holds a Guinness World Record! She set the record for the Fastest Vehicle Slalom on August 21, 2020. She drove a Porsche 718 Spyder through 50 cones in just 47.45 seconds.
She is managed by A14 Management, a company owned by Formula One World Champion Fernando Alonso.
