Darwin Turner, known by his stage name Choppa, is an American rapper and singer. He is famous for his hip hop music. Choppa started his music career in the early 2000s. He has released several albums and mixtapes.

Choppa's Music Journey
Choppa began his music career in 2001. His first album was called Choppa Style. It was released by an independent record company named Take Fo' Records. The main song from this album, also called "Choppa Style," became very popular in his hometown of New Orleans.
In 2003, Choppa released his second album, Straight from the N.O.. This album was put out by Master P's record label, No Limit Records. It did very well on the music charts, reaching number 54 on the US Billboard 200 list.
A year later, in 2004, Choppa joined a music group called Body Head Bangerz. This group was started by the famous boxer Roy Jones Jr.. Roy Jones Jr.'s own record company, Body Head Entertainment, released two more of Choppa's albums. These were Da Real Choppa in 2005 and Comin' Back Home in 2006.
After a break, Choppa released his first mixtape in 2013. It was also titled "Choppa Style." This was his first solo music project in seven years.
