Chris Beckford-Tseu, born on June 22, 1984, is a Canadian who used to play professional ice hockey as a goalie. He played one game in the National Hockey League (NHL) for the St. Louis Blues during the 2007-2008 season. Most of his career, from 2004 to 2011, was spent playing in smaller hockey leagues. The Blues picked him in the fifth round of the 2003 NHL Draft.

Starting in Youth Hockey

Playing in the OHL
Beckford-Tseu started his junior hockey career in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL). He was chosen 91st overall in the 2000 OHL Draft. He played for three different teams: the Guelph Storm, the Oshawa Generals, and the Kingston Frontenacs. His best year in the OHL was with the Oshawa Generals in the 2002-2003 season. That year, he won 25 games.
Joining the NHL Draft
In 2003, the St. Louis Blues picked Chris Beckford-Tseu in the NHL Entry Draft. He was the 159th player chosen overall. This was a big step towards playing professional hockey.
