Chris Cain is an American musician known for playing blues music. He was born on November 19, 1955. Blues music is a style of music that often tells stories about feelings and life experiences.
Chris started playing music professionally when he was a teenager. He performed in local clubs, at music festivals, and at private events. He also went to Pomona College.
In 1987, Chris Cain released his first album, called Late Night City Blues. This album was very popular and earned him four nominations for the Blues Music Award. One of these nominations was for Guitarist of the Year, which shows how talented he is with the guitar.
He continued to release many albums throughout his career. In 1990, he signed with Blind Pig Records and released his second album, Cuttin' Loose. He released more albums with them, including Can't Buy A Break in 1992 and Somewhere Along the Way in 1995.
More recently, in 2018, Chris Cain received more awards. He was nominated for Blues Music Awards Guitarist of the Year again. He also got nominations from the Blues Blast Awards for Best Male Blues Artist and Best Contemporary Blues Album. These nominations were for his 2017 album, which was simply titled Chris Cain.
