Chris John Henry, born on June 6, 1985, is a former American football player. He played as a running back in the National Football League (NFL). He was chosen by the Tennessee Titans in the second round of the 2007 NFL draft. Before joining the NFL, he played college football for the Arizona Wildcats.
Henry also played for the Houston Texans and the Seattle Seahawks during his professional career.

College Football Career
Chris Henry played college football at the University of Arizona. His time there helped him prepare for the NFL.
Early College Years
In 2003, Henry played in only two games. A leg injury kept him from playing more that season. In 2004, he played in 11 games as a redshirt freshman. He gained 159 rushing yards on 56 carries. He also scored two touchdowns that year.
In 2005, Henry continued to play in all 11 games. He mostly played on special kicking teams and as a backup running back. He had 34 carries for 119 yards.
Becoming a Starter
In 2006, Henry became the main starting running back. He had been a backup for other players before this. He finished the season with 581 rushing yards. He carried the ball 165 times and scored 7 touchdowns.
On December 18, 2006, Henry made a big decision. He announced he would leave college early. He wanted to enter the NFL Draft instead of playing his senior year.

Tennessee Titans (2007–2009)
The Tennessee Titans picked Henry in the second round of the 2007 NFL draft. He was the 50th player chosen overall. In his first year, his rookie season, he played in seven games. He rushed for 119 yards on 31 carries. He also scored two touchdowns.
During his second season with the Titans, Henry played in only one game. He had just one carry for three yards. The Titans released Henry on September 29, 2009. This meant he was no longer on their team.
Houston Texans (2009–2010)
After leaving the Titans, Henry joined the Houston Texans. He was signed to their practice squad on October 6, 2009. A practice squad is where players train with the team but are not on the main roster. On December 9, he was moved to the active roster. This meant he could play in games. The Texans later waived him on September 3, 2010.
Seattle Seahawks (2010–2011)
Henry then joined the Seattle Seahawks. He was signed to their practice squad on September 6, 2010. He was later moved to the Seahawks' active roster on October 23, 2010. He played for them until he was released on August 3, 2011.
