College Career at Michigan State
While playing for the Michigan State Spartans, Chris Rucker was a talented defensive back. He was known for his skills in stopping opposing players. In 2010, he was recognized as a "Second-team All-Big Ten" player. This means he was one of the best defensive players in the Big Ten Conference that year.
Playing in the NFL
After a successful college career, Chris Rucker hoped to play in the NFL. In 2011, he was chosen by the Indianapolis Colts in the NFL Draft. The draft is where professional teams pick new players from colleges. Chris was the 188th player picked overall in that draft. He played for the Colts for a short time. In August 2012, the Colts decided to "waive" him, which means they released him from the team.
Playing in the CFL
