Christian Corrêa Dionisio (born April 23, 1975), known simply as Christian, is a former Brazilian professional footballer. He played as a striker, which means he was a forward player whose main job was to score goals. Christian played for many different clubs throughout his career, both in Brazil and in other countries. He also represented the Brazilian national team.

Christian's Football Journey
Christian started his football journey in his hometown of Porto Alegre, Brazil, playing for Sport Club Internacional. When he was just 17, he moved to Portugal to play for C.S. Marítimo. He then played for two other Portuguese teams, Estoril and S.C. Farense, gaining experience in the country's top league.
Returning to Brazil and International Success
In 1996, Christian returned to Sport Club Internacional in Brazil. His excellent performance there helped him get called up to the Brazilian national team. He was part of the team that won the 1999 Copa América tournament in 1999. He played in two matches during that tournament, helping Brazil secure the victory.
After his success in Brazil, Christian moved to France to play for Paris Saint-Germain. He also played for Bordeaux in France. Later, he returned to Brazil, playing for several well-known clubs like Palmeiras, Grêmio, São Paulo, Botafogo, and Corinthians.
Later Career and Other Countries
Christian also played football in other countries. He joined Omiya Ardija in Japan in 2005 and Pachuca in Mexico in 2008. He returned to Sport Club Internacional again in 2007 and later played for Portuguesa in Brazil. He continued his career with a few more Brazilian clubs before ending his professional playing days.
