Christian Meier (born June 23, 1970) is a famous actor and singer from Peru. He is well-known across Latin America, in the United States among Spanish speakers, and in many other Spanish-speaking countries.

About Christian Meier

Christian Meier was born in Lima, Peru, on June 23, 1970. He is the youngest of four children. His mother is Gladys Zender, who was crowned Miss Universe in 1957. His father, Antonio Meier, was a Peruvian politician. He was elected mayor of the San Isidro district in Lima in 2006. Christian has two older sisters, Sibylle and Karina, and an older brother, Antonio.

Christian went to the Miraflores Maristas School. After high school, he studied Graphic Design and finished his studies in 1992.

Christian's Career

Music Journey

In 1987, Christian helped start a popular Peruvian rock band called Arena Hash. He played the keyboard for the band and also sang some songs. The band was very popular in the late 1980s and early 1990s. Later, the band broke up, and some members, including Christian, started their own music careers.

In 1996, Christian released his first solo album, No Me Acuerdo Quién Fui. This album had hit songs like "Tus Huellas Entre Las Mías" and "Carreteras Mojadas." These songs quickly became number one on radio stations in Peru. The album sold so well that it went double platinum. In 1997, he began working on his second album, Primero en Mojarme.

In 2002, he released Once Noches, which was a very successful album for him. It included popular songs such as "Alguien" and "Novia de Nadie." The song "Novia de Nadie" was a duet with the Spanish singer Mikel Erentxun.

Acting Career

Christian Meier is also very famous for his acting. He has starred in many soap operas (which are long TV drama series) and movies. His acting success has made him well-known in many countries. This includes countries in Latin America, the United States, and other Spanish-speaking parts of the world. Besides acting and singing, Christian also has his own line of perfumes. He has appeared in many commercials too.

Christian's Personal Life

Christian Meier married Peruvian actress Marisol Aguirre in 1995. They met while working on the soap opera "Gorrión." They separated in 2007 and finalized their divorce in 2008. They have three children together. In July 2023, Christian married Andrea Bosio, who is also from Peru.
