Christian Louis Ntsay was born on March 27, 1961. He is a politician from Madagascar. He has served as the Prime Minister of Madagascar since 2018. For a short time in 2023, he was also the acting President. Before becoming Prime Minister, he worked as the Minister of Tourism. He also represented Madagascar at the International Labour Organization.

Early Life and Education
Christian Louis Ntsay was born in Diégo-Suarez, Madagascar, in 1961. He studied Economics at the University of Antananarivo. Later, he earned a special degree in business management. He completed this study in Paris, France.
Career Highlights
Early Roles and Consulting
Mr. Ntsay founded Radio Fréquence Plus Madagascar. He was its first president from 1992 to 2001. He also managed the SOLIMA oil company in Madagascar. This was from 1993 to 1997.
For many years, Mr. Ntsay worked as an advisor. He helped big organizations like the World Bank and the European Union. He was also the Minister of Tourism from 2002 to 2003. From 2008 to 2018, he represented Madagascar. He worked with the International Labour Organization.
Becoming Prime Minister
In 2018, the previous Prime Minister resigned. President Hery Rajaonarimampianina chose Mr. Ntsay to be the new Prime Minister. In 2023, Mr. Ntsay briefly served as acting President. He led a government that aimed to unite different groups. This happened before the presidential election that year. Some candidates had concerns about the election process.
Recent Political Changes
In September 2025, there were protests in Madagascar. People were upset about problems with water and electricity. Because of these protests, President Andry Rajoelina announced a change in government. On September 29, 2025, he ended Mr. Ntsay's government. President Rajoelina kept Mr. Ntsay's government in a temporary role. This was until a new Prime Minister could be chosen. President Rajoelina set a three-day period for choosing a new Prime Minister.

Mr. Ntsay has two children. He is fluent in three languages. These are Malagasy, English, and French.
